Yet Will I Rejoice
Yet Will I Rejoice
‘Though the fig tree does not blossom…’
Design Description:
This banner is based on Habakkuk 3:17-18. The central circle uses the OOOMB symbol of joy as a de! ant and hope-filled rejoicing in the middle of difficult circumstances. It represents the small but significant act of the will required to rejoice in the midst of difficulty. This banner encourages us to persevere in rejoicing even when there appears no physical evidence or reason to do so. The dark oppressive clouds have gathered around us and bring no refreshing rain - just darkness. The land is parched and lifeless - no crops grow, there are no signs of life or wealth. The grapevines are weak and their leaves stunted and the olives have prematurely fallen to the ground - useless. Yet even in the darkest times there is a flicker of faith and hope that allows us to declare, "Yet Will I Rejoice"! We believe that one day our trust in the Great I AM will be vindicated. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for (God's) wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord. Romans 12:19 (AMP) But as for me, I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me. Micah 7:7&8 (AMP) Name of the LORD: |
