Our Mission
The Mission, Vision & Purpose of Out Of Our Minds Banners…
Our Purpose
'If we are out of our minds, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right minds, it is for you!' 2 Corinthians 5:13
Educating and encouraging people to enter more fully into worship is part of a larger vision. We believe that as we enter more fully into understanding and worshiping our awesome God, then we will see the fulfillment of God's purposes on earth.
The aspects of our mission directly related to banners are highlighted below.
Our Vision

Foundational Scriptures
2 Cor 5:11-6:2
Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is plain to God, and I hope is also plain to your conscience. We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart. If we are out of our mind, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says, "In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favour, now is the day of salvation.
Matthew 5:23,24
Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
John 17:20-23
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the would may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you have me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Psalm 133: 1,3
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
