Anointing Oil
Anointing Oil
‘To anoint, set apart or consecrate.’
Design Description:
This banner was designed to represent olive oil which was and still is, used for anointing. The "drippy" edges and the smooth of the banner represent oil running over and down a person or object as they are anointed, set apart and consecrated. Anointing oil also continues to be used around the world because of its healing properties. For millennia, anointing oil, a symbol of the Holy Spirit, has been used to recognize those appointed or consecrated for God's service. This banner can be waved in proclaiming and calling forth the anointing, wrapped around a person being commissioned, waved or formed into a a canopy over an object or place being set apart. Dance with joy celebrating the anointing you have received which you. This design can also be used to intercede for and celebrate unity among the 'brothers' of the Body of Christ on earth. How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. Psalm 1:33
