Promises, The

The design of The Promises banner makes it one of the most colourful and dramatic in the collection. As the silk shimmers in the breeze, the seven-coloured rainbow reflects the full spectrum of colours. It is designed to remind us of God's promises. God first used the rainbow after Noah's flood to serve as a reminder of God's promise never to destroy the earth again with a flood.

God is faithful to His promises and there are hundreds of them. The seven colours of the rainbow and the thousands of variations represent the myriad of promises He has made to His children. The source of all colour is pure white light and so we chose a lesser known name of God "The LORD My Light" to be associated with this banner. Without light there is no colour. Without the true and living God there is no hope for His promises to manifest in our lives.
