Lion of Judah Striking
Lion of Judah Striking
‘The Lord will do battle!’
Design Description:
The fierceness of this banner will strike fear into the hearts of the enemies of the Lord, while giving hope and confidence to His saints who hold it high! The bright red background of this banner declares a message of war as well as symbolising the blood of Jesus, through which victory has already been proclaimed. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah leaps forward in a show of strength and courage, bringing judgement and wrath upon Christ’s enemies. The Lord will do battle on behalf of His saints! This banner is useful in spiritual warfare and intercession, declaring Christ’s strength and power in every situation. Name of the LORD: Bible Verses: Whilst there are many different ways that lions are portrayed in Scripture, this banner refers to the images of Jesus as God. The allusions of lions are most often to their majesty and strength, indicative of royalty (Proverbs 30:30), courage (Proverbs 28:1) and fierceness (Psalm 22:13). Jesus is described as the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5), the only one worthy top open the scrolls and its seven seals. God describes himself as a lion in battle in both Isaiah 31:4 and Jeremiah 50:44. In Hosea 5:14, God is described as a fierce lion and in Hosea 11:10 the Lord declares He will “roar like a lion” in order to bring His children back to Himself.
