Design Description:

This banner is designed to capture the explosive power and wonder of one of God's attributes - His creativity. It is also an expression of the joy of human creativity. The background contrasts with explosions of a myriad of other colours bursting out in spontaneity.

God's creativity brought life originally and continues to bring and inspire life in all its fullness.

Every person is endowed with an element of creativity. God, the Master of Creation, the source of all Creativity, grants gifts to mankind to enable the artisan in all manner of artistic workmanship. He also bestows gifts to singers and musicians to encourage expressive and creative worship. The creative gifts and talents of God and granted by God, are boundless in their beauty of expression.

Bright Green: God's Life and Goodness, Fruitful Land (Exodus 27:20; Pslams 92:14)

Yellow: Faith, Glory, God's Faithfulness, Happiness, Joy, Light, Sunshine, (Matthew 17:2; Revelation 1:16; Psalm 84:11)

Red: Atonement (Isaiah 1:18, Joshua 2:18,21, Leviticus14:52; Hebrews 9:14; 1John 1:7), Bloodshed, Blood of Jesus, Cleansing, Death, (2 Kings 3:22, Revelation 6:4,12:3) Life Sacrifice, War.

Pink Healing Body, Soul and Spirit, Comfort, Praise Brings Health, He Makes Our Heart Flesh, Keeping Our Heart Soft for God to Work on.

Turquoise: The Revelation of Jesus, The Scriptures, The Knowledge of God.

Royal Purple: King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Royalty, Kingship, Majesty, Wealth (Songs 3:10; John 19:2; Judges 8:26; Mark 15:17)

Black: (Escape from) Satan, Death, Mourning, Sin, Famine (Lamentations 4:8; Jeremiah 8:21; Revelation 6:5).

Orange: Fire, Holy Spirit Baptism, Joy of the Lord (Acts 2:2-4; Matthew 3:11)

Bible Verses:

God is a creative God. He created the universe and everything in it. (Genesis 1-3. Job 38-39) and because we are made in God's image, we are creative beings (Genesis 4:20-22).

Creativity is a gift from God (Exodus 31:1-5). God used creative artisans to build the Tabernacle (Exodus 31:6) and creative people were recognised and used in the worship of God by His people (1 Chronicles 15:16-22). We are to use our creativity for the building up of the church (1 Corinthians 14:12).
